Acknowledge and challenge, the Joy of Emotional Strength

As I write to you it is on the day before my 40th birthday, I cannot help, but look back over these years and look at my life.  I must admit that things have not always been ideal, but I can say that I have no real regrets.  Everything that I have been through has brought me to where I am today and to the woman that I have become and I really like her!

Today Tommy is asking us to look at the emotional strength that we have, that drive to push on, to keep moving and our ability to decide what we will focus on.  Focus on those “Dirty RATs” in your life and then that is all that you will see is those rats, but if you will focus on the glimmer of hope that is just around the bend, that belief that things have to get better and most importantly the promise of Romans 8:28.

Romans 8:28 (KJV)
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

It is my prayer that you will focus on the joys in your life and know that in all things Jesus IS on your side!

Joy to you,
