I find the human mind to be so interesting; and I am certain that I am not alone. Countless studies have been done to try to “figure” it out, yet I believe that no matter how much we study the mind we will never be able to truly grasp it. Our mind can be wonderful, even “magical”; the things that we can dream up and create. The advancements that mankind has made just in a short period of time is certainly wondrous to behold, so why in the midst of such beauty do we still find a world filled with despair and angst? In today’s reading “The joy of being battle ready”, Tommy shares with us that the most important battle that we will fight is our thoughts. He tells us that we must be ready to battle our thoughts, these “RAT’s, really awful thoughts, can take over our mind and our life.
So how do we battle something that we cannot see? How do we gain control over our thoughts?
Proverbs 16:3 (KJV)
Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.
By giving your thoughts over to God, He will win this battle for you! “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 15:57 (KJV)
Joy to you,
